Insurance & coverage
What your plan may cover.
Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial plans cover medical care for substance use. What is covered — and whether you owe a copay — depends on your plan and the services you receive.
We check your benefits privately and explain any costs before your visit.
We accept most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid, and nobody is turned down. Call (212) 888-2222 and we'll check your benefits.
Is this confidential?
Yes. Your health information is protected by federal privacy laws, and we do not share it without your permission except where the law requires.
Do I need to stop using before I come in?
No. You are welcome wherever you are. Please be honest with your physician — some substances can be dangerous to stop suddenly without medical supervision.
Can I be seen by telemedicine?
Often, yes. Telemedicine visits are available in the evenings, and we can arrange in-person visits when needed.
Do you provide detox or residential treatment?
We provide outpatient medical support and coordination. If you need detox or a residential program, we help you find and connect with the right one.
My family member needs help. Can I call?
Yes. We can talk with you about how to support them and how they can get started.
